Drop-Off Policies

Gibson County Knife Sharpening operates by scheduled drop-off and pickup in Medina, Tennessee. To keep every order organized, secure, and clearly documented, each knife goes through a structured intake process.

Appointment Required

Pickup is by appointment only.

Please coordinate drop-off and pickup times in advance so your knives can be handled safely and returned promptly.

Drop-Off Process

Account Creation

When you bring your kitchen knives by, we will collect your information and create your customer record in our system.

Private Portal Access

You will receive an automated email with secure access to your Customer Portal. You can log in to check the status of your current drop-off and review your sharpening history.

Condition Photography

Before sharpening begins, your knives may be photographed to document their condition. These photos may be added to your portal so you can view the before-and-after condition of the edge.

Digital Liability Waiver

You may be asked to complete a standard safety and liability waiver. This helps document the condition of the knives and the requested sharpening service.

Email Notifications

You will receive email updates about your sharpening status, final invoice, and pickup readiness. Please schedule pickup within 30 days of completion notification.

Service Policy Notice

We specialize in kitchen cutlery and related household blades. We reserve the right to refuse service for items outside our sharpening capabilities, items in unsafe condition, or items we are not comfortable processing.

Please contact us before drop-off if you have questions about a specific knife, unusual blade style, or damaged edge.
